Flora was originally created as a residential commission for a client who expressed a deep connection with mathematics and the Fibonacci sequence in particular.

Every aspect of this piece derives from the Fibonacci sequence so readily found in nature. That the final form resembles a flower is just the natural outcome of following the logic of this special numeric relationship.
